Delete your OT Auth account

Delete it in the app, or ask us to delete it if you no longer have the app.

In the app

1. Open OT Auth and tap the Profile tab.
2. Scroll down and tap Delete account.
3. Tap Delete to confirm.

Without the app

Email us from the email address on your account, with your mobile number and its country code, for example +91 98765 43210.

We may ask you to confirm that the number is yours. We reply once the account is deleted.

What is deleted, and when

• Straight away: your account is closed and you are signed out on every phone. It can no longer be used to sign in to other apps.
• After 30 days: your name, email address and postal address are erased.

What we keep

Your mobile number, your account ID, the date you deleted the account, and the ID, name and model of the phones that were signed in. We keep these so that your account ID is never given to anyone else, and to help prevent fraud.

Apps you signed in to with OT Auth keep the details you chose to share with them. To have those deleted, contact each app.
